The basic qualification for anyone to appear for the Maharashtra Judiciary JMFC examination is, that he/she must be a citizen of India.

(1) Degree in Law. Must have passed each examination for the said degree in the first attempt and (ii) passed the final year of the Bachelor of Laws or the final year of the Master of Laws (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks on or before 01 September 2023 Must be registered as Lawyer.

Ministerial Staff:-  Members of the Ministerial Staff of the High Court, Ministerial Staff of the Courts subordinate to the Court.

Must have completed at least 3 years of service on or before September 01, 2023, after graduation in law.

Lawyer

At least 3 years experience in the legal profession as Advocate, Attorney, or Advocate in Bombay High Court or a Court subordinate thereto as of 01st September 2023. (2) Service in Maharashtra in the post of Public Prosecutor shall be deemed to be judicial occupation.
