Marking Scheme in LIC Assistant 2020

The following is the marking scheme of the paper:

Total Marks: Prelims Exam is for a total of 100 marks whereas the Mains Exam is for 200 marks.

Positive Marking: In both prelims and mains exam, students will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted by the student (from the marks allotted to the correct responses)

LIC Assistant Selection Process 2020

The officials of LIC follow the selection process mentioned below:

• Prelims: The first stage of the exam for applicants is to clear the Prelims Exam. This exam has subjects: English, Reasoning & Maths. Students shall finish 100 questions within the time period of 1 hour
• Mains: The candidates who will crack the Prelims exam will be called to appear for the Mains Exam. The Mains Exam is a little tougher. The subjects in Mains are GK, Maths, Reasoning & English. Students have to finish all the sections (200 questions) within 2 hours 30 minutes
