Number of IPMAT Seats 2024 at all IIMs

The candidates who pass the exam are selected on the basis of the number of seats available for the course. 

Every year, IIM Indore conducts the IPMAT exam and announces the number of seats available in the program. The same follows for all IIMs admission. 

The number of seats for IPMAT changes every year, on average IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak have approx. 150 every year.

The total number of seats in IIM through IPMAT is listed below:

The total number of seats across all these IIMs is 690. However, the total of seats when broken down into IPMAT and JIPMAT is 450 and 240, respectively

The seats in the IPMAT are filled based on merit scores obtained in the entrance exam, class 12th scores and the interview process.

Note: The 12th-grade score is not accepted as a valid qualification for IPMAT Indore

The IPMAT Cut-off list is released along with the exam results on the official website. 

The category-wise IPMAT Cut-offs are released for General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories, depending on the seats available.

Apart from the Cut-off list, the institute also announces the number of seats available for the IPMAT exam in advance each year. Candidates can find the number of seats available for IPMAT on the institute’s official website.

• QA (MCQ) = 39
• VA = 125
