What is IPMAT Exam? 

IPMAT Full Form: Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test

• The IPMAT Exam, or Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test, is an entrance exam conducted by prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission to their five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM).
• This exam is designed for students aspiring to pursue management immediately after Class 12, providing an early entry into management education.
• Candidates can pursue IPM degree in 5 of the IIMs; IIM Indore offers a B.A Foundation in Management followed by an MBA, while IIM Rohtak, Ranchi, Jammu, and Bodh Gaya offer a BBA followed by an MBA.
• The IPM aims to cultivate future leaders by providing a rigorous management education starting at the undergraduate level.

What is IPMAT Indore 2025?

• Conducting Body: Indian Institute of Management Indore.
• Exam Purpose: Admission to five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) in IIM Indore, which awards a B.A Foundation in Management and an MBA upon completion.

What is IPMAT Rohtak 2025?

• Conducting Body: Indian Institute of Management Rohtak.
• Exam Purpose: IIM BBA MBA integrated course entrance exam is conducted for selection for IIM Rohtak's five-year IPM, culminating in a BBA and an MBA.
• Exam Specifications: The pattern and syllabus for IPMAT Rohtak are tailored specifically to the program's focus at IIM Rohtak and differ from those of IIM Indore IPMAT 2025.

What is JIPMAT Exam 2025?

• Conducting Body: National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Exam Purpose: Admissions into the IPM programs at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya.
• Program Duration: Five-year course offering an integrated BBA and MBA degree.

IPMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria will vary for both domestic and international applicants.

To apply for the test, you must satisfy the IIM IPM eligibility.

IIM Indore Exam Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: You should be born on or after August 01, 2005 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given).
• Qualifying Exam: You should have passed Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
• No Minimum Percentage (%) in either grade X or XII is required.

Note: Candidates likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the program provisionally. At the time of registration for the program, such candidate must have to produce standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations mark sheet (securing minimum marks, as indicated above) along with a school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s provisional admission offer will stand cancelled.

IIM Rohtak Exam Eligibility Criteria

You must satisfy the following eligibility criteria to apply for IIM Rohtak.

• General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: You must score at least 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
• SC, ST and PWD (DAP) Category: You must score at least 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.  
• Age Limit: To be eligible, you must not exceed 20 years of age as of June 30, 2025.

Note 1: Candidates expected to finish XII standard by June 2025 may apply if they meet eligibility post-results. Provisional admission requires 60% marks for General/EWS/NCOBC and 55% for SC/ST/PWD at program registration, along with necessary certificates. Admission is revoked if criteria aren't met.

Note 2: Marks in X and XII standards are calculated from the best five subjects' aggregate, regardless of Board rules. For grades, conversion to percentage is based on the Board's certified method.

IIM Ranchi Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have cleared Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks for General, NC-OBC, and EWS categories, and 55% for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
• Age Limit: No specific age limit mentioned.
• Admission Test: IIM Ranchi accepts only exam scores conducted by IIM Indore.
• Provisional Admission: Candidates awaiting Standard XII results may apply provisionally, needing to submit final marks and a school leaving certificate at registration, failing which the offer will be revoked.

Note: IIM Ranchi reserves the right to modify or change the admission process and eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to regularly check the IIM Ranchi website for the latest updates and information regarding the admission process.

IIM Jammu Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must have successfully completed Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examination in the years 2023, 2024, or are expected to complete in 2025 are eligible for IIM Jammu IPM. 

• Minimum Percentage: Applicants must have scored at least 60% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations. For candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories, the minimum required percentage is 55%.
• Eligibility for International Applicants: Candidates who are pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated with foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) are also eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: The age criteria for eligibility are determined by the respective IIMs.

Note: This eligibility criteria is subject to change. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the IIM Jammu website for any updates or modifications to the admission requirements.

IIM Bodh Gaya Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

• Minimum Percentage: Candidates must have passed the 10+2/ XII/ HSC examination in arts, commerce, or science streams or equivalent with a minimum of 60% (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories) in 2024, or are expected to complete in 2025.
• Percentage Calculation: Marks in Class X and XII are calculated based on Board regulations, or by aggregating all subjects on the grade sheet if no specific rules exist.
• Provisional Admission: Final-year Standard XII students may apply provisionally, but admission depends on final results meeting required scores; failure to do so results in removal from the process.
• Age Limit: The age criteria for eligibility are determined by the respective IIMs.

Note: These eligibility criteria are subject to change. Prospective candidates should continuously monitor the IIM Bodh Gaya website for any updates or changes to the admission requirements.

IIFT Kakinada IPM Eligibility Criteria 2025

• Academic Requirements: Candidates must have completed 10+2/XII/HSC in arts, commerce, or science with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) by 2025, or are appearing in 2025.
• Class 10 Eligibility: Must have passed with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) in or after 2021.
• Mathematics Requirement: Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Applied Mathematics is mandatory at the +2 level.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after August 1, 2005, with a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

IPMAT 2025 Selection Process

The IPMAT Selection Process is a two-step process different for domestic and international applicants. Go through the detailed selection process given in the post below.

IIM Indore Selection Process 2025

Stage I: Online Registration

(i) Interested applicants who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online as described previously in the application procedure. (ii) A non-refundable registration fee will be applicable during the application submission process.

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) Eligible applicants will undergo the IPM Aptitude Test (AT) conducted by IIM Indore, examining the applicant's proficiency in Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Questions), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Questions), and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Questions).
(ii) IPM AT Indore to be conducted in May 2025 (tentatively).

Stage III: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

(i) The eligible pool for the Personal Interview (PI) is created based on candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each section of the Aptitude Test. The cut-off marks for each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee and will vary based on the categories of applicants.
(ii) Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Personal Interview (PI), which will be held through offline mode as intimated by the Institute.

Stage IV: Offline Personal Interview (PI)

(i) Shortlisted candidates will participate in the offline Personal Interview, judged on their academic performance, general awareness, and communication skills.
(ii) The Personal Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the second week of June 2025.

Stage V: Final Selection and Merit List

(i) The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) and Personal Interview (PI) scores.
(ii) The Composite Score (CS) will be calculated as follows:

• Aptitude Test Score (ATS): 65%
• Personal Interview (PI): 35%
• Composite Score (CS): Sum of ATS and PI scores

The category-wise merit list will be generated, and provisional admission offers will be made based on the Composite Score (CS) and adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.

IIM Rohtak Selection Process 2025

Stage I: Online Registration 

(i) Interested applicants who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will fill out the registration form that evaluates the applicant’s proficiency in academics and extra-curricular activities. 
(ii) The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 4500/- (Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Only)

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test, which will examine the applicant's aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English.
(ii) IPM AT to be conducted in May 2025 (tentatively).

Stage III: Offline Personal Interview (PI)

(i) The Call for Personal Interviews (PI) announcement will be done in the First Week of June 2025. The shortlisting will be based on the IPMAT 2025 scores.
(ii) during their personal interviews, the candidates will be judged based on their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.
(iii) The interviews are proposed to be held in the Second Week of June 2025 (Tentative)

Stage IV: Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance

The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPMAT 2025, Past Academics, and Personal Interviews. 

IIM Ranchi Selection Process 2025

• Stage 1: Appearing for IPMAT Indore as students clearing the test will be selected for the IPM Ranchi program. SAT scores are no longer valid.
• Stage 2: The shortlisted students will be called for the offline Personal Interviews (PI). The shortlisting will be based on the IPMAT Indore scores 2025.
• Stage 3: Final selection will be on the on the aggregate of Aptitude test, PI as well as academic profile.

IIM Jammu Selection Process 2025

The selection process of IIM Jammu consists of:

• Stage 1: The Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Stage 2: The Merit list will be prepared based on JIPMAT Score and gender diversity.

Note: There will be no Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Bodh Gaya Selection Process 2025

The admission to IPM would be ONLY on the basis of Joint Integrated Program Admission Test (JIPMAT 2025) in IIM Bodhgaya. The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. 

Stage I: Online Registration

(i) Interested applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria should submit their application online as outlined in the application procedure. (ii) A non-refundable registration fee will be required during the application submission.

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) Admission to the IPM program will be through the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT 2025), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Bodh Gaya may also explore joint examination options with other IIMs offering the IPM program.
(ii) The exam will assess the candidate's aptitude across various sections.

Stage III: Merit List Preparation

(i) The marks obtained in the JIPMAT 2025 will be used to prepare the merit list. Candidates who score more than or equal to the category-wise sectional percentile 30 will be eligible for the Merit List.
(ii) Government of India rules for reservation in admission will apply to SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and PwD categories.
(iii) 70% of seats are gender-neutral. In case the optimal number of girls in various reservation categories is not met within the gender-neutral pool, the remaining 30% of seats will be a combination of gender-neutral and supernumerary girls (SNG) seats to promote a healthy gender ratio on campus while maintaining merit as the primary consideration.
(iv) Sectional raw scores will be subject to minimum qualifying requirements, decided after the results based on the available pool of candidates.

Stage IV: Tie-breaking Rule for Merit List

If the overall composite scores of two or more students are the same, they will be ranked based on the following criteria, in order:

1. Higher overall JIPMAT score.
2. Higher VARC section score.
3. Higher QA section score.
4. Higher DILR section score.
5. Higher Class X score.
6. Higher Class XII score.
7. More recent appearance in Class XII.
8. More recent appearance in Class X.
9. Younger date of birth.

IPMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

As per the IPMAT exam pattern, the exam is conducted online mode. Admissions are made through a 3-stage selection process, as explained below.

The exam pattern is not typically disclosed prior to the test. Given that the pattern has been consistent in past 3 years, students are recommended to prepare based on the pattern of the last year's exam.

• There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test, namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
• Each question will carry 4 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
• IIM Indore never reveals the number of questions being asked in the exam beforehand.
• There is a time limit of 40 minutes in each section.

All applicants, both international and national, must follow the same process for the IPMAT registration.

Visit the official IIM website, complete the registration, fill in the required details, pay the fee, and submit the form along with any necessary reservation certificates. 

IPMAT 2025 Admit Card 

Applicants are required to download their admit card from the official website, which will be available ten days before the exam. It is crucial to visit the website, click on the "Admit Card" tab, enter login credentials, and submit.

The admit card is necessary not only as a means of entry to the exam venue but also because it contains all the IPMAT exam day guidelines set by the authorities.

IPMAT Result 2025 

IIM will publish the IPMAT 2025 result on the official website. The results were published in the form of a PDF. 

The scorecard is released along with the result. It includes the scores and percentile obtained by you in each section of the paper, along with the overall scores and percentile. 

Based on the IPM Indore result, you will get shortlisted for the personal assessment round. 

How do I Check IPMAT 2025 Result? 

• Go to the official website of IIM Indore. 
• Go to the IIM IPM section. 
• Click on the “Results” button. 
• Enter your User ID and password. 
• Then, enter the Security Code/Password shown on the screen.

Cut-off marks are the minimum marks that you need to score to get shortlisted for further selection rounds.

IPMAT 2025 Seat Intake and Reservation Policy

The Government of India has implied a fixed percentage for seat reservations of different categories. Check the table below.
