IIM Ranchi Admission Process 2025

Several factors are considered while shortlisting candidates for the final call for the IPM program at IIM Ranchi:

• Register for the entrance test IPMAT Indore.
• Then, you have to register on the official IIM Ranchi website.
• After the entrance test scores are available, the candidates scoring more than the overall IIM Ranchi IPMAT program cut-off will be called for a personal interview.
• After the interview, a composite score of the entrance test, interview, 10th and 12th scores, and gender diversity is calculated for the final call.

Note: IIM Ranchi includes cumulative scores from IPMAT Indore in its admission criteria for the Integrated Program in Management (IPM).

IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program Eligibility Criteria 2025

Applicants must have earned at least 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PWD) of the required marks in the 10th/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent).

According to the Board's rules, the proportion of marks the candidate earned in the 10th and 12th will be determined.

The aggregate marks of all subjects shown on the grade sheet will be considered for determining the passing percentage if the relevant Board has not established any regulations regarding aggregate marks.

IIM Ranchi IPMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The IPMAT Indore exam will last 2 hours and consist of 90 questions. Below are the IPMAT Indore sections and the duration provided for each section:

IIM Ranchi IPMAT Course Curriculum 2025

The Integrated Programme in Management is an entirely residential program.

It is divided into nine terms, which last three years. Following the fifth term, students are required to participate in a SIIP (Social Internship Immersion Programme).

A final assessment is conducted at the end of the third year, and students must have a minimum CGPA of 4.5 to be promoted to the MBA program following the third year. The regular MBA program is followed in the fourth and fifth years.

Admission Guidelines for IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program

Below is the guidelines for Indian Institute of Management Ranchi course admissions:

1. Submit Before Deadline: Ensure your IPMAT application form is submitted before the deadline.
2. Early Submission: To prevent the last-minute rush, candidates are urged to submit their applications as soon as feasible.
3. Verify Information: Double-check all information before paying the application fee and submitting the form.
4. No Changes After Payment: No changes can be made once the application fee is paid. If necessary, cancel the current application and reapply using a different email address.
5. Regular Updates: Regularly check your registered email address (including Spam, Promotion, and other folders), the IIM Ranchi website, and your registered mobile number for any updates or notifications from IIM Ranchi. The institute will not be responsible for missed communications.
6. Grade/CGPA Conversion: Convert Grades or CGPA to an equivalent percentage as per your board's instructions.
7. Accepted Scores: Only the IPMAT 2025 score conducted by IIM Indore will be accepted for the IPM 2025-30 program at IIM Ranchi.
8. Personal Interview (PI): The PI will tentatively conducted in July 2025 in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore & Ranchi in offline mode. The mode and centres for the PI process may be subject to change.

Placements for the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Ranchi are expected to occur alongside the Postgraduate Programme (PGP) batch, similar to practices at IIM Indore.
