As per the IPMAT exam pattern 2025 guidelines, the exam duration is 120 minutes, i.e., 2 hours, and the IPMAT total marks are 360.

• There is a sectional time limit for each section.
• You will be given 40 minutes for each of the three sections.
• It would help if you answered the sections in a pre-specified order, and the pre-specified order is the same for all exam-appearing aspirants.
• Candidates are required to clear the sectional IPMAT cut-off from their respective categories to be considered for PI.

The IPMAT paper pattern is somewhat unpredictable because IIM Indore never releases the number of questions beforehand.

Difference Between QA (MCQ) and QA (SA)

The IPMAT Indore exam evaluates Quantitative Ability using MCQs and Short Answers (SA). IPMAT Indore Marking Scheme 2025

• As per the IPMAT Exam Pattern, you will be rewarded four marks for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer in the MCQ questions.
• There will be no negative marking for the Short Answer-type questions in the Quantitative section.
• No marks are allotted or deducted for unattempted questions.

IPMAT Indore Final Selection 2025

It happens in the following stages,

• Online Registration: Eligible candidates must submit their applications online and pay the non-refundable fee of ₹4,130 (General/OBC) or ₹2,065 (SC/ST/PwD).
• Aptitude Test (AT): Scheduled for May 12, 2025 (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM), the test will assess quantitative ability, verbal ability, and logical reasoning across 37 cities.
• Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI): Candidates meeting the sectional cutoffs set by the Admissions Committee will be shortlisted.
• Personal Interview (PI): Based on Aptitude Test Scores (ATS), shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on academics, communication, and general awareness.
• Final Selection: A category-wise merit list based on the Composite Score (CS) will be prepared.

It happens in the following stages,

• Online Registration: Candidates meeting the IPMAT eligibility criteria must complete the registration process and pay a non-refundable fee of ₹4,937.
• IPM Aptitude Test: All applicants must take the aptitude test, which assesses quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and English proficiency.
