The Council of Architects (CoA) has released the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) exam syllabus for 2024. Candidates can head over to the official NATA website to find the latest brochure released by CoA.
The CoA has officially announced the start of applications for NATA from March 1st, 2024. Candidates can go to the official NATA website to apply for registration and pay the fee through online payment methods.
Candidates must take a printout of the confirmation page after successful completion of the application process.

NATA exam is a three-hour long exam consisting of two parts for a total of 200 marks, available in both Hindi and English. Understanding the NATA exam pattern is important for candidates preparing for the entrance exam.
Candidates will be tested on their drawing and composition skills as well as general knowledge and various other abilities like numerical, logical, visual reasoning, language interpretation, design thinking and design sensitivity.
Part A of the test will have two 25-mark questions and one 30-mark question for a total of 80 marks. While part B will have 30 questions of 2 marks and 15 questions of 4 marks each for a combined total of 120 marks.
For students preparing for NATA 2024, it is highly recommended to attempt mock tests and go through previous years question papers. This allows candidates to familiarise themselves with the test structure and figure out how to manage time properly during the exam.
