As the countdown to the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2024 ticks down, today marks the final opportunity for candidates to download their admit cards. The UCEED, scheduled for January 21, 2024, requires candidates to present a printed copy of their admit cards at the examination center.

The UCEED 2024 journey began with online registration opening on October 3, 2023, and concluded with the regular fee registration closing on November 13, 2023. An extended period for late registration was available until November 20, 2023. The admit cards became available for download on January 5, 2024, and candidates had until January 11, 2024, to make any necessary corrections. The culmination of this process is the UCEED exam itself, set for January 21, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Following the examination, candidates can look forward to the announcement of results and subsequent admission procedures.

The process of downloading the admit card is straightforward and can be completed in a few simple steps: 

• Visit the Official UCEED Site: Candidates should first go to the official website, www.uceed.iitb.ac.in. 
• Log in to Your Account: Access your account by entering your email ID and password under the Candidate’s Login section. 
• Access Admit Card: Click on the “Download/View UCEED Admit Card 2024” link. 
• Download and Print: After reviewing the admit card on the screen, download and take a printout. 
• Keep the Admit Card Safe: It is essential to retain the admit card throughout the admission process.

The UCEED admit card is a critical document, and candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without it. The admit card includes vital information such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, application ID, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date and time, and the allotted exam center.

In case of any discrepancies found in the admit card, such as misspelled names or incorrect information, candidates were advised to report these issues to the higher authorities at IIT Bombay by January 11, 2024. The official email for reporting discrepancies is uceed@iitb.ac.in.
