• In a stunning political comeback, Donald Trump was elected the 47th president of the United States on Wednesday (November 6), surpassing the critical 270 electoral votes and securing a total of 277 in the 2024 Presidential Election.

IPL 2025 auction to be held in Saudi Arabia on Nov 24-25

• The auction for Indian Premier League, IPL 2025 will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 of this Month (November), This is the second successive year the auction has been held overseas as Dubai hosted the previous one ahead of the IPL 2024. A total of 1,574 cricketers 1,165 Indian and 409 overseas have been signed up for the auction this time.

Kiki Hakansson, first miss world, passed away at 95

• Kiki Hakansson, the pioneering figure who made history as the first-ever Miss World, has passed away at the age of 95. Hakansson, who was crowned in 1951, died in her sleep, born in Sweden, Hakansson became a global icon when she won the first Miss World title at the inaugural pageant held at the Lyceum Ballroom in London on July 29, 1951.

• Shriram Asset Management Company has announced a new liquid fund that it says has a relatively low interest rate risk and moderate credit risk, The fund will focus on investing in A1+ rated instruments, prioritising stability and liquidity and with the goal of optimal balance in the scheme returns by following a systematic investment approach.
