India-Vietnam Joint Military Exercise Begins in Ambala
- The 5th edition of the Vietnam-India Bilateral Army Exercise, "VINBAX 2024," began on Monday at Ambala. Scheduled from November 4 to 23, the exercise will take place at both Ambala and Chandimandir, aiming to strengthen military cooperation and interoperability between the two nations.

Dr. Virendra Kumar Inaugurates 'Shilp Samagam Mela 2024'
- Union Minister Dr Virendra Kumar Inaugurated the 'Shilp Samagam Mela 2024' at Dilli Haat, New Delhi, the fair will continue till the 15th of this month and will be open from 10 in the morning to 11 nights, at the fair, 110 marginalised people from 16 states belonging to the National Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation, National Safai Karmacharis Finance and Development Corporation, and National Backward Class Finance and Development Corporation, have set up their stalls.
15 Days Jal Utsav to Begins Today
- NITI Aayog will be launching 15 15-day 'Jal Utsav' starting today ( 6 November ) to create awareness and sensitivity towards water management, conservation and sustainability. The campaign follows the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who mooted the idea of 'Jal Utsav' on the lines of 'Nadi Utsav' during the 3rd Chief Secretaries Conference held in December last year.

- Haryana's professional boxer Mandeep Jangra won the World Boxing Federation's super featherweight world title by beating the British boxer Conor McIntosh. The World Boxing Federation's super featherweight world title match was held in the Cayman Islands.

- Science and Technology Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh has said that India will launch the European Space Agency mission named PROBA-3 next month from the Sriharikota Space Station. The mission will study the Sun's faint corona closer to the solar rim.
Obituary
Bihar's nightingale Sharda Sinha passed away
- Legendary folk singer Sharda Sinha, fondly known as the "Nightingale of Bihar," passed away at the age of 72. She breathed her last at 9:20 PM at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. According to AIIMS officials, Sinha succumbed to a refractory shock caused by septicemia.
