Karnataka signs Rs 200 crore Pact with Steer World to drive sustainable manufacturing
- The Karnataka government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bengaluru-based Steer World, a global leader in advanced materials and sustainable manufacturing solutions, to catalyse innovation, foster industrial growth, and promote sustainable practices within India's manufacturing sector.
Himachal Govt inks pact for Rs 1,400 crore API, green hydrogen, ethanol facility
- The Himachal Pradesh Government signed an agreement with Spray Engineering Devices Limited to set up a facility worth Rs 1,400 crore to produce API (active pharmaceutical ingredients), green hydrogen and ethanol, The integrated manufacturing facility, to come up in Solan district.

Table Tennis legend A. Sharath Kamal announces retirement
- Indian table tennis legend A. Sharath Kamal announced that he will retire later this month, ending a career spanning more than 22 years at the top of the sport. Sharath will bid farewell in front of friends and family in Chennai, where the WTT Star Contender event, his final tournament, will take place from March 25 to 30.
Steve Smith Announces Retirement from One-Day Internationals
- Steve Smith has retired from One-Day Internationals following Australia's Champions Trophy semi-final loss against India. He remains available for Tests and T20Is, aiming for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Smith played 170 ODIs, scored 5800 runs, and led Australia to two World Cup victories in 2015 and 2023.

- The Government of India has appointed an Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce Shri Ajay Bhadoo, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Government e Marketplace (GeM) with effect from March 3, 2025. He will assume this role in addition to his existing responsibilities in the Department of Commerce.
