India and Nepal Sign Pact to Strengthen Cooperation in the WASH Sector

  • The Government of India and the Government of Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector, including waste management. The signing ceremony took place at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of Shri C R Patil, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, and Shri Pradeep Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Water Supply, Government of Nepal.

Amit Shah inaugurates the Workshop on Sustainability and Circularity in the Dairy Sector

  • Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the “Workshop on Sustainability and Circularity in Dairy Sector” in New Delhi today (March 3). PM Modi flags off motorcycles for Gujarat’s forest staff and more

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday flagged off motorcycles aimed at enhancing the mobility of frontline forest staff in Gujarat during his visit to Gir National Park.
  • Earlier in the day, PM Modi chaired the 7th meeting of the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL) and released the findings of India’s first-ever riverine dolphin estimation. The study, which covered 28 rivers across eight states, recorded an estimated 6,327 dolphins.

Brandon Holt wins the 2025 Bengaluru Open ATP Tennis Single Title

  • Brandon Holt of the United States defeated Shintaro Mochizuki of Japan to win the singles title of the 2025 Bengaluru Open ATP 125 Challenger tennis tournament. The final was played at the KSLTA Tennis Stadium, Bengaluru, on 2 March 2025, It was held at the KSLTA Tennis Stadium in Bengaluru from 24 February to 2 March 2025.
