Lulu Group to set up food processing, logistics centers in Andhra Pradesh

• UAE-based Lulu Group International will set up modern food processing and logistic centres in Andhra Pradesh along with hypermarkets and a shopping mall in the state, its Chairman and Managing Director Yusuffali MA said so. 

UP CM unveils Rs 1,170 cr Pepsico bottling plant in Gorakhpur

• Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the new soft drink bottling and dairy product plant by Varun Beverages, a franchisee of PepsiCo, which was set up with an investment of Rs 1,170 crore near the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. 

BCCI unveils new 'Centre of Excellence' in Bengaluru

• To expand the cricketing infrastructure, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) inaugurated the new state of art facilities which are called the Centre of Excellence in the outskirts of the Bengaluru city. Which is also called New National Cricket Academy.

Poet Keki N. Daruwala Passes Away at the Age of 87

• Celebrated English poet and former IPS officer Keki N Daruwalla died at a Delhi hospital after prolonged illness and a spell of pneumonia, He was 87.

Mathrubhumi MD M V Shreyams Kumar elected president of the INS

• M V Shreyams Kumar, Managing Director of Mathrubhumi, has been elected president of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS) for 2024-25 at its 85th Annual General Meeting. He succeeds Rakesh Sharma of Aaj Samaj. 

Justice Manmohan New Chief Justice of Delhi High Court

• Justice Manmohan took oath as the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, The oath was administered by Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena at a ceremony that was also attended by newly appointed Chief Minister of Delhi, Atishi. 

IndusInd Bank board okays re-appointment of Kathpalia as MD & CEO for 3 yrs

• The board of directors of private sector lender IndusInd Bank has approved the re-appointment of Sumant Kathpalia as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank for a period of three years. The re-appointment will be effective March 24, 2025 upto March 23, 2028.
