Jio Financial Services launches SmartGold for digital gold purchase

  • Jio Financial Services, the non-banking financial company (NBFC), announced on Tuesday that customers can now buy digital gold by investing in SmartGold through the JioFinance app. Customers can start investing in digital gold anytime, with a minimum amount of Rs 10. 

Chirag Chikkara clinches gold at U23 World Wrestling Championships   

  • Chirag Chikkara became only the third Indian to become Under-23 world champion as India capped a rich haul of nine medals, including a gold and silver each, at the age group tournament.
  • Chikkara, competing in the men's freestyle 57kg category, eked out a narrow 4-3 in the closing seconds of the final win over Abdy malik Karachov of Kyrgyzstan, He becomes the second Indian man, after Paris Olympics bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat, to win the gold at the U23 Championships.

Spain President Pedro Sánchez inaugurates 4th Spain-India Forum in Mumbai

  • The President of the government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has asserted that Spain and India share strong ties and that both countries can collaborate to strengthen them further. Ayodhya Deepotsav aims for two Guinness World Records with 1,100 devotees and 25 lakh diyas

  • The Deepotsav celebration in Ayodhya is set to enter the Guinness World Records with two significant achievements this year. For the first time since the completion of the Ram Temple, the festival will feature a 1,100-person Saryu Aarti alongside a large-scale diya-lighting ceremony.
