- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has announced a five-year extension of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) scheme.
- This initiative aims to provide 5 kilograms of free foodgrains per month to 81.35 crore poor citizens, incurring a cost of approximately ₹11.80 lakh crore for the exchequer.
Nitin Gadkari Inaugurates ‘Classic Imperial’ Luxury Cruise in Kerala
- Nitin Gadkari virtually marked the inauguration of ‘Classic Imperial,’ a luxury cruise vessel, in Kochi.
- The vessel, touted as the largest of its kind built in Kerala, can accommodate 150 people at a time.

- Henry Kissinger, a towering figure in American foreign policy, passed away on November 29, 2023.
- He served as the United States Secretary of State under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.
- Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1973 for his role in the Paris Peace Accords.
- He was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977.
