EC Signs Electoral Cooperation Pact with Uzbekistan

• The Election Commission of India signed an agreement for electoral cooperation with Uzbekistan’s central poll body. This agreement was formalized during Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar’s visit to Tashkent, where he is serving as an international observer for the upcoming elections scheduled for October 27.

DPIIT partners with HCL Software to support manufacturing startups

• Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Commerce Ministry, announced a tie-up with software company HCL Software to support manufacturing startups in the country, The partnership is part of DPIIT’s move to encourage corporates to incubate manufacturing startups. 

Signature Global awards Rs 1,203 Cr contract to Capacit'e Infra for housing project in Gurugram

• Realty firm Signature Global has awarded a Rs 1,203 crore contract to Capacit'e Infra projects Ltd to construct its housing project in Gurugram.
• In a statement on Sunday, Signature Global said it has awarded the construction contract for its premium residential project 'Titanium SPR' at Sector 71, Gurugram. 

Spanish PM to arrive today, inaugurate aircraft facility with PM Modi

• Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will be on a three-day visit to India from October 27 during which he will hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
• The two leaders will inaugurate the Final Assembly Line Plant of C295 aircraft at Vadodara, a flagship "Make in India" initiative in aviation sector, which is being set up by Tata Advanced Systems in collaboration with Airbus Spain.
