PM Modi inaugurated the ICA Global Cooperative Conference at Bharat Mandapam
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ICA Global Cooperative Conference at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Monday (November 25). For the first time, in 130 years long history of the International Cooperative Alliance, the Global Cooperative Conference and General Assembly are being organized in India. On the occasion, Mr. Modi launched a commemorative stamp on the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
Govt Launched National Campaign ”Ab Koi Bahana Nahi” in New Delhi
- Government launched a national campaign Ab Koi Bahana Nahi in New Delhi. The campaign calls on the public, government, and key stakeholders to take actionable steps to eliminate gender-based violence. It is a collaborative effort between the Ministries of Women and Child Development and Rural Development, with support from UN Women. At the campaign, a film on Ab Koi Bahana Nahi was released to showcase the need for accountability from all stakeholders, including each citizen, to pledge against ending gender-based violence.
Odisha Parba 2024 held in New Delhi
- Odisha Parba is a flagship event conducted by Odia Samaj, a trust in New Delhi. Through it, they have been engaged in providing valuable support towards preservation and promotion of Odia heritage. Continuing with the tradition, this year Odisha Parba is being organised from 22nd to the 24th November.
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in the ‘Odisha Parba 2024’ programme on 24 November at around 5:30 PM at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. He also address the gathering on the occasion.

Punit Goenka withdraws from reappointment for ZEEL MD
- Punit Goenka has resigned as Managing Director of Zee Entertainment Enterprises to focus on his role as CEO, has also withdrawn himself from reappointment for the post in the coming Annual General Meeting.
- Earlier on October 18, 2024, the ZEEL board approved the proposal for Goenka's reappointment for a five-year term, effective from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029. Goenka's present tenure as Managing Director & CEO of the company was scheduled to finish at the 2024-end.
