Rajnath Singh Inaugurated the Chanakya defence Dialogue

• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the second edition of its flagship international seminar, the Chanakya Defence Dialogue, today ( October 24 ) in New Delhi. The Minister also launched the Indian Army’s Green Initiative 1.0 and Digitisation of IA 1.0.

Rishabh Pant overtakes Virat Kohli in Test standings: ICC

• Rishabh Pant overtook his superstar India teammate Virat Kohli to reach the sixth spot in the ICC Test rankings for batters, Fresh from a counter-attacking 99 in the second innings of the opening Test against New Zealand, Pant gained three spots in the rankings while Kohli, who made a fluent 70 in Bengaluru, dropped a place to be eighth.

RBI approves Pranav Chawda's appointment as JP Morgan Chase Bank India CEO

• J P Morgan Chase Bank India said it will elevate Pranav Chawda as its chief executive officer, Chawda joined J P Morgan in 2019, and has been heading the commercial banking vertical. His responsibilities will now get expanded, under which he will also head the corporate banking entity. 

Prabhakar Raghavan Appointed as Google’s Chief Technologist

• Prabhakar Raghavan, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-Madras), has been appointed as Google’s Chief Technologist. He was previously the Senior Vice President at Google
