An MoU signed between India and Maldives for promoting the use of local currencies
- An MoU signed by the Reserve Bank of India and the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) to establish a framework for promoting the use of local currencies, Indian Rupee and Maldivian Ruyaa, in cross-border transactions.
- On 21 November, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and MMA Governor Ahmed Munavvar signed the MoU in Mumbai. This MoU encourages the use of Indian Rupee (INR) and Maldivian Ruyaa (MVR) in current account transactions, acceptable capital account transactions, and any other economic or nancial transaction agreed upon by the two countries. He was my clouge in my office as SME of logical reasnning.
ISRO and ASA Join Hands for Gaganyaan Mission
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has entered into a significant collaboration with the Australian Space Agency (ASA) to support India’s first crewed spaceflight program, Gaganyaan, On November 20, 2024, the two space agencies signed an Implementation Agreement (IA) to enhance cooperation on crew and crew module recovery.

Centre launches World Bank’s ‘Jobs at your doorstep’ report
- Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan along with Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya launched a World Bank report titled ‘Jobs at Your Doorstep: A Jobs Diagnostics for Young People’ that covers six states in India.

- The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ministry of Science and Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh, inaugurated the VISION (Viksit Bharat Initiative for Student Innovation and Outreach Network) Porta in New Delhi on 21 November 2024.

Binny Bansal steps down from fintech major Phonepe board
- About 10 months after stepping down from the Flipkart board, its co-founder Binny Bansal on Friday exited from the board of PhonePe, a payments company incubated by the e-commerce giant, Bansal had quit Flipkart in January this year citing conflict of interest, after he had launched his new venture, OppDoor.

Health Ministry signs MoU with BHU and Education Ministry
- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has signed an MoU with Banaras Hindu University and the Ministry of Education to provide support to the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) of BHU. The MoU, signed in New Delhi, enables the provision of a grant-in-aid to IMS, BHU by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in line with the new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) set up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.

- The 18th NCB International Conference and Exhibition on Cement, Concrete and Building Materials will be held from 27th to 29th November 2024 at Yashobhoomi, Delhi - India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC) Dwarka, New Delhi, It will be organised by the National Council of Cement and Building Materials (NCB).
- Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal will attend the event as the Chief Guest during a special session on November 27, 2024.

PM Modi Receives Global Peace Award in Washington
- The Association of Indian American Minorities (AIAM), a newly launched non-governmental organization, was inaugurated on November 22, 2024, at the Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church in Maryland, USA. The organization aims to foster unity and uplift minority communities within the Indian American diaspora. During the launch event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored in absentia with the ‘Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Global Peace Award for Minority Upliftment’, recognizing his efforts in inclusive development and minority welfare.
Kerala receives the Best Marine State award at World Fisheries Day 2024
- Kerala was honoured with the Best Marine State award for its contribution to the country's fisheries and aquaculture sector growth. On the occasion of World Fisheries Day 2024, the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying honoured many states, districts, and individuals for their contribution in a ceremony organized in New Delhi on 21 November 2024.

SBI launches low-cost tailored vehicle loan for Uber's fleet partners
- India’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a low-cost customised vehicle loan product for Uber’s fleet partners, the lender said on Friday. The customised loan will enable low-cost, tailored financing solutions as well as hassle free disbursement.
- The partnership between SBI and Uber aims to leverage SBI’s extensive financial services network and Uber’s technology to ensure that the fleet partners effectively expand their fleet and scale-up their operations.
Central Bank of India gets RBI nod for insurance JV with Generali group
- Central Bank of India has got approval from the Reserve Bank to enter the insurance business through a joint venture with Generali group under FGIICL and FGILICL.
- In a filing to stock exchanges, the state-owned bank said the RBI accorded the approval vide a letter dated November 21, 2024.
