Kerala Unveils Nayanamritham 2.0: AI-Driven Eye Screening

• The Kerala government has introduced Nayanamritham 2.0, an AI-driven eye screening initiative aimed at early detection of chronic eye diseases. This program, in partnership with health-tech company Remidio, marks the world’s first government-led AI-assisted screening program for conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy (DR), and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). By expanding access to quality eye care. 

Indian Navy Partners with Private Sector for Cutting-Edge See-Through Armor

• The Indian Navy has partnered with Tonbo Imaging, an Indian company specializing in advanced imaging and sensor technology to develop a cutting-edge "See-Through Armour System" equipped with multi-spectral HD sensors.

Ben Duckett scores highest individual score in Champions Trophy

• English batter Ben Duckett created history at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, scoring the highest individual total in ICC Champions Trophy history. Duckett registered his third ODI hundred and went on to score 165 to achieve the milestone. He also became the only batter to score 150-plus runs in a single Champions Trophy innings. 

Indian Vishvaa Rajakumar Prodigy Wins Global Memory Championship

• In a remarkable feat of cognitive excellence, 20-year-old Vishvaa Rajakumar from India has been crowned the winner of the Memory League World Championship, as reported by The New York Times. This prestigious competition challenges participants to memorize and recall sequences of numbers, images, and words in record time. Rajakumar’s record-breaking performance saw him recalling 80 digits in just 13.5 seconds. 

Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan & Vijay Sundar Prasanth Win Pune ATP Challenger 100 Doubles Title

• The top-seeded Indian duo, Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Vijay Sundar Prasanth have clinched the men’s doubles title of the Pune ATP Challenger 100. They defeated the second-seeded Australian pair, Blake Bayldon and Matthew Romios, 3-6, 6-3, 10-0 to be crowned champions in front of the home crowd. 

Gulveer Singh becomes first Indian to break the 13-minute barrier in Men’s 5000 m Indoor Race

• In athletics, the Hangzhou Asian Games bronze medallist Gulveer Singh has made history by becoming the first Indian to break the 13-minute barrier in the men’s 5000-metre indoor race.
• Competing at the BU Terrier DMR Challenge in Boston, Gulveer clocked an astonishing 12 minutes 59.77 seconds, a performance that not only set a new National Record for India but also established a new Asian 5000m short track record.

SEBI slaps Rs 10 lakh penalty on Axis Securities for violating stock rules

• Capital markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 10 lakh on Axis Securities for flouting stock brokers' rules as well as other regulatory norms, The penalty has to be paid by the brokerage firm within 45 days.
