Madhya Pradesh Introduces ‘Pink Alarms’ for Enhanced Women’s Safety

  • Madhya Pradesh has installed 'pink alarms' at the government-run district hospital and medical college in Datia. This initiative addresses growing concerns about the safety of female staff in public hospitals. 

Mission Basundhara 3.0 launched by Assam Chief Minister and more

  • Mission Basundhara 3.0 launched in Guwahati by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, its objective is to provide land rights to indigenous people, under this, steps will also be taken to digitize various land related services and publish maps for the benefit of the people of the state.
  • The Chief Minister also launched the Revenue Department's DigiDoc, a digital directory for non-registrable and optionally registrable documents. 

PM Modi inaugurates three airports under RCS-UDAN

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated three new airports developed under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) – UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik). The airports—Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, and Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh—are set to begin operations soon, enhancing air connectivity in these regions. 

Kerala launches Citizen Sentinel app to keep tabs on traffic

  • Kerala’s Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) has launched the Citizen Sentinel mobile application, empowering citizens to actively participate in ensuring road safety. The app allows users to report traffic violations in real time by capturing photos or videos of infractions and uploading them for review by enforcement officials.

  • New Zealand secured a maiden T20 World Cup title, defeating South Africa by 32 runs after a mammoth effort from the all-rounder Melie Kerr, who was also named the player of the tournament, It is the first time that New Zealand had won either the men's or women's World Cup title. 

Deepika Kumari bags Archery World Cup medal

  • Indian archer Deepika Kumari captured her sixth World Cup medal, winning the silver medal after a 0-6 defeat to China’s Li Jiaman in the championship round.

  • The Walt Disney Co. is tapping Morgan Stanley executive James Gorman to serve as its next chairman, beginning early next year. The entertainment giant also announced that it anticipates naming its new CEO in early 2026.
