India and Guyana ink 10 MoU’s covering agriculture, hydrocarbons, UPI
- India and Guyana signed 10 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the country, covering areas such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and the deployment of UPI in the Caribbean nation.

Tata Power and Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd entered into a strategic partnership
- In a landmark move to strengthen regional energy security and support the clean energy transition, Tata Power Company Ltd (Tata Power), one of India’s largest integrated power companies, has entered into a strategic partnership with Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd (DGPC), a subsidiary of Druk Holding and Investments Limited, sole generation utility of Bhutan, to collaborate and develop at least 5,000 MW of clean energy generation capacity in Bhutan.
Special Olympics Asia Pacific Bocce & Bowling Competition in Delhi
- For the first time, India is hosting the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Bocce & Bowling Competition from 19-22 November 2024 at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi. The event is open to athletes from the Asia-Pacific with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is the first time a competitive bowling event has been held in India.

India’s 1st AI data bank to boost national security launched
- The Ministry of Science and Technology has launched India’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) data bank that is aimed at propelling innovation and boosting the country’s national security, The initiative will provide researchers, startups, and developers access to high-quality, diverse datasets essential for creating scalable and inclusive AI solutions.
- It was launched by Minister of Science and Technology Minister (Independent Charge) Jitendra Singh at the 7th Edition of the ASSOCHAM AI Leadership Meet 2024.

Bihar to host Khelo India Youth Games and Para Games in April 2025
- Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has announced that Bihar will host the Khelo India Youth Games and Para Games in April next year (2025), There are 38 Khelo India Centres in Bihar and one Khelo India State Centre of Excellence catering to athletes at all levels.

- Italy claimed its fifth Billie Jean King Cup title on November 20, 2024, defeating Slovakia 2-0 in the final held in Malaga, Spain. Jasmine Paolini’s commanding 6-2, 6-1 victory over Rebecca Sramkova sealed the triumph for Italy, following Lucia Bronzetti’s 6-2, 6-4 win over Viktoria Hruncakova.
Hardik Pandya reclaims top spot as world’s no. 1 all-rounder in ICC Men’s T20I
- In ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings, India veteran Hardik Pandaya has re-claimed the first place as all-rounder in the world. While in the batters, India’s Tilak Verma has made a massive jump into the top 10 list who is on the third place, followed by Suryakumar Yadav, who is on fourth place.
- Yashasvi Jaiswal has slipped one spot to eighth place. In bowlers, Arshdeep Singh has joined his partner Ravi Bishnoi in the top 10 list. Arshdeep has reached to ninth spot, while Ravi has slipped to eighth spot.
India wins Women’s Asian Champions Trophy Title
- India’s Women’s Hockey Team successfully defended their title at the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy, defeating China 1-0 in the final. The victory marked India’s third ACT title, showcasing their dominance in the tournament’s history alongside South Korea. Deepika’s stunning reverse-hit goal in the 31st minute was the difference, securing India’s back-to-back championship win.
