- President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to introduce India’s Unified Payment Interface in the Maldives. The president’s office announced that the decision was taken on the recommendation of the cabinet. The move is expected to bring significant benefits to the Maldivian economy.
India and Oman conduct naval exercise Naseem Al Bahr
- The India-Oman bilateral naval exercise Naseem-Al-Bahr, held from October 13 to 18, 2024, off the coast of Goa, featured the participation of the Indian Navy’s INS Trikand and Dornier Maritime Patrol Aircraft, alongside the Royal Navy of Oman’s vessel Al Seeb.
