CEAT Tyres announces two-year partnership with Bayer 04 Leverkusen
- With an eye on the European market, Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT has inked a two-year partnership deal with German football club Bayer 04 Leverkusen -- the reigning Bundesliga champions.
- This agreement makes CEAT the official tyre partner of the football club for the next two seasons, starting immediately and running until June 30th, 2026.

Govt. launches National Landslide Forecasting Centre, Portal and App
- To mitigate the hazards of landslides and provide early warning to the people affected by them, the government of India has set up the National Landslide Forecasting Centre at Kolkata and launched the Bhusanket Web Portal and Bhooskhalan Mobile App.
MotoGP India ropes in cricketer Shikhar Dhawan as its new brand ambassador
- Star India opener Shikhar Dhawan has been appointed the brand ambassador for MotoGP in India. Dhawan, known for his dynamic presence on the cricket field, will ignite his passion for racing through latest campaign, 'Face Kar Race Kar'.
India's Kush Maini wins his first-ever F2 Sprint race
- India's Kush Maini won his maiden Formula 2 Sprint Race at the Hungarian Grand Prix after initial winner Richard Verschoor's was disqualified due to a technical infringement.

Sanjeev Krishan re-elected as chairman of PwC in India for second term
- PwC India announced that Sanjeev Krishan has been re-elected as its chairperson for a second term. Krishan, 53, will hold the post for four years beginning April 1, 2025.
- The consultancy said that Krishan would continue to represent it externally and internally. He will also continue to serve on the PwC Global Strategy Council.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd, Haryana Govt Sign MoU to Set Up Green Charcoal Plants
- A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited and Gurugram and Faridabad Municipal Corporations to set up plants to produce green charcoal from waste in Faridabad and Gurugram.

Poet Jukanti Jagannatham Honoured With Sri Dasarathi Krishnamacharya Award
- Telangana government has nominated eminent writer and poet Jukanti Jagannatham for the prestigious “Sri Dasarathi Krishnamacharya Award” for this year. The state government announced that Mr Jagannatham will be bestowed with the award including one lakh rupees cash and a memento on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dasarathi Krishnamacharya.

ADB sanctions $240.5 million loan for rooftop solar systems in India
- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has sanctioned a $ 240,5 million loan to India to finance the expansion of the solar rooftop system in India. This is expected to push the ambitious government to promote and develop the rooftop solar system in the country and promote the renewable energy sector.
