Jaishankar Inaugurates Symbiosis University’s First International Campus in Dubai
- External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar presided over the inauguration of Symbiosis International University’s first overseas campus at Dubai Knowledge Park. The ceremony, marking a significant milestone in Indo-UAE relations, was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple projects worth Rs 6640 cr, Bihar
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited Jamui, Bihar today (15th November) to commemorate Janjatiya Gaurav Divas. Prime Minister unveiled a commemorative coin and postal stamp in honour of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 6,640 crore aimed at uplifting tribal communities and improving infrastructure in rural and remote areas of the region.
- Prime Minister also participated in the Grih Pravesh of 11,000 Awas built under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN). He also inaugurated 23 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) launched under PM-JANMAN and an additional 30 MMUs under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) to enhance healthcare access in tribal areas.
Integrated Manufacturing Cluster to set up in Gaya, Bihar
- In a significant boost to the prospect of industrial and economic development in Bihar, an Integrated Manufacturing Cluster is to be established in Gaya along the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor project of the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation.
- An agreement was signed between the Bihar Government & Bihar Industrial Development Authority and the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) on 12 November 2024.

- Jharkhand Foundation Day, also known as Jharkhand Divas, is celebrated on November 15th each year. This day holds significant historical and cultural importance for the state of Jharkhand in India. Jharkhand was carved out of the southern part of Bihar on November 15, 2000, to become the 28th state of the Indian Union.

- The Gujarat government signed an MoU with a leading EMS company Jabil to set up its electronics manufacturing services (EMS) unit with Rs 1,000 crore investment in Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR).
India to host IIAS Annual Conference 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi
- DARPG in collaboration with IIAS will host the IIAS-DARPG India Conference, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 10-14, 2025. The IIAS Annual Conference is the flagship event of the IIAS body. It is organized every year in different regions of the world.
First India-US Indian Ocean Dialogue
- The first India-US Indian Ocean Dialogue will be held in New Delhi and will focus on efforts to promote security and prosperity across the Indo-Pacific region, according to an official readout from the US State Department, US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell will participate in the Dialogue.
Union Ministry of Mines Sign MoU with IEA on Critical Minerals
- The Union Ministry of Mines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Energy Agency (IEA) to collaborate in the field of critical minerals. The MoU was signed in New Delhi on 13 November 2024 by V. L. Kantha Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, on behalf of the Ministry and for the International Energy Agency, and was signed by Dr Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the IEA.

Dominica has announced its highest national honour to PM Modi
- Dominica has announced to confer its highest national honour to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Dominica Award of Honour will be bestowed to the Prime Minister in recognition of his contributions to Dominica during the COVID-19 pandemic and his dedication to strengthening the partnership between India and Dominica. President of Dominica Sylvanie Burton will confer the award during the upcoming India-CARICOM Summit, scheduled to take place in Georgetown, Guyana from the 19th to the 21st of this month.
