• At the World Government Summit 2024, Dubai has unveiled groundbreaking agreements to introduce the world’s inaugural air taxi service, setting a new standard in urban transportation.
• This initiative, centered around the innovative Joby Aviation S4 aircraft.
• It is Second renewal agreement for payable advisory services with the World Bank Group.

Trinidad and Tobago Declares National Emergency after Offshore Oil Spill

• The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Rowley has officially declared a state of “national emergency”.
• The spill, originating from an overturned vessel near Tobago.

Nation’s Oldest Test Cricketer, Passed Away

• Dattajirao Gaekwad, the nation’s oldest Test cricketer, passed away recently at the age of 95.
• Gaekwad’s Test debut for India came during the team’s tour of England in 1952.
