India-Uzbekistan Joint Military Exercise DUSTLIK 2024: Strengthening Bilateral Relations
- The fifth edition of the India-Uzbekistan Joint Military Exercise DUSTLIK is set to commence on April 15, 2024, in Termez District, Uzbekistan.
- The fourth edition of the joint military exercise took place on February 20 last year at the Foreign Training Node, Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.
Russia’s Successful Angara-A5 Rocket Test Launch
- Russia successfully tested its Angara-A5 space rocket for the first time on April 11, 2024.
- The test launch was conducted from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Far East of Russia.

Jagjit Pavadia Re-elected to International Narcotics Control Board

- This includes a significant victory by its nominee, Jagjit Pavadia, who was re-elected for a third term to the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB).
- Jagjit Pavadia was re-elected to the INCB by secret ballot for a third term, from March 2025 to 2030.
