Indian Navy approves Mazagon Dock to build 6 submarines with German collaboration
- In a major development, the Indian Navy has cleared the state-owned Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) to build six submarines with the projected cost upto Rs 60,000 crore. The decision follows the completion of trials for submarines under Project 75 India, according to defence sources.
DRDO Successfully Test Long Range Glide Bomb - GAURAV
- The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has carried out a successful maiden flight test of Long Range Glide Bomb (LRGB), GAURAV from the Su-30 MK-I platform of the Indian Air Force. the test was conducted off the coast of Odisha.

- In order to improve flood forecasting and flood management systems in the country, the government of India has launched an improved Flood Watch India 2.0 App. The Flood Watch India app 2.0 provides real-time information on flood situations to users across the country through a smartphone. The Flood Watch India app 2.0 is an upgraded version of the Flood Watch India App launched in August 2023.
