India-UAE signed Agreement to collaborate in Critical Mineral Supply Chain
- India and UAE agreed upon two business-related outcomes on the occasion of the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Mumbai. The outcomes include the launch of work on the India-UAE virtual trade corridor, VTC and MAITRI interface to facilitate VTC.
Nepal Becomes 101st Member of International Solar Alliance
- Nepal has become the 101st country to join the International Solar Alliance-ISA as a full member. In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs said that Nepal handed over its Instrument of Ratification to the ISA in New Delhi, The Instrument of Ratification was exchanged during a meeting between Nepal’s Charge d’ affairs Dr. Surendra Thapa and Joint Secretary (ED&MER) in the External Affairs Ministry, Abhishek Singh.

Rajiv Ranjan Singh to Launch Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojna
- Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Rajiv Ranjan Singh will launch Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojna in an event in New Delhi (On September 11). Mr Singh will also release Standard Operating Procedure on Production and Processing Clusters in the Fisheries Sector.
Govt to launch PAIR programme to boost research in higher education institutions
- The central government will launch the Partnerships for Accelerated Innovation and Research (PAIR) programme designed to elevate research capabilities in higher education institutions (HEIs) by linking top-tier research institutions with those where research capability is limited, creating a collaborative mentorship environment.
QCI Approves National Test House Ghaziabad as Certification Body for Drones
- The Quality Council of India (QCI) has provisionally approved National Test House (NTH), Ghaziabad, as a certification body for type certification of drones under the Drone Rules 2021. NTH will assess agricultural drones, including Vimaana Aerospace Technologies’ Krishiraj 1.0, and provide low-cost certification services to support the growing drone sector in India.
L&T Technologies and IBM ink pact to develop advanced processors
- L&T Semiconductor Technologies, the chip arm of infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro, announced a collaboration with US-based computing giant IBM for research and development to develop advanced processors.

IIFT tops LinkedIn Global MBA Ranking in networking
- India's premier business school Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), under the commerce ministry, has topped the chart in the networking category in the LinkedIn's top 100 MBA programmes in the world, The institute was ranked 51st among the top 100 programmes, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
India ranks No.1 in MSCI EM Index
- India has surpassed China to become the top weight nation in the MSCI Emerging Market (EM) Investable Market Index (IMI) for the first time, Indian equities together carry a weighting of 22.27 per cent in the index, edging ahead of Chinese stocks, whose combined weight now has fallen to 21.58 per cent.
