Overview: The XAT exam date for 2025 is January 5, and it will be conducted across various centres in India. This national-level entrance exam, which sees over one lakh students every year, is your gateway to XLRI Jamshedpur and other top B-schools.

• The Xavier Aptitude Test exam will be conducted on Sunday, January 5, 2025. The registration window to fill out the form to appear for the entrance is live from July 15, 2024.
• If you are one of the candidates willing to be admitted into XLRI, you must fill out the form before November 30, 2024. 
• Also, the XAT exam pattern is updated for 2025 with some changes. Now, it will consist of only two parts, 1 and 2.

• PGDM BM at the Jamshedpur campus, the final seat count has increased from 180 to 240 candidates. 
• PGDM BM at Delhi NCR campus, the final seat count has increased from 120 to 180 candidates. 
• Xavier School of Management- XLRI, Jamshedpur, has launched a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Creation (PGDM-IEV). 
• The duration of the XAT exam has been changed from 3 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours.
• The XAT 2025 exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.

To qualify for the XAT exam scheduled on the specified exam date, candidates must fulfil the following basic requirements: 

• Earned a three-year bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
• No minimum percentage of marks scored is required.
• Students who anticipate completing their final examinations by June 10, 2025, can also apply.
• There is no specific age limit to register for the XAT 2025 exam.

This year, the XAT exam pattern has undergone some changes. The XAT exam is divided into two parts: PART A (170 Minutes) and PART B (General Knowledge only -10 minutes).

What's New In XAT Exam Pattern 2025?

The XAT 2025 entrance exam has come up with some updates like:

• Integration of Analytical Essay Writing with GD and PI: The analytical essay writing component will now be administered with Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) in later stages.
• Revision in General Knowledge Section: The XAT 2025 GK section will have 20 Questions (12 current affairs + 8 static GK) that need to be completed in 10 minutes.
• XAT Exam 2025 Timinings: Now the XAT exam timings are 180 minutes (Part A: 170 minutes + Part B: 10 Minutes)

XAT Exam Registration Process 2025

The XAT Exam Notification 2025 has been released by XLRI (Xavier School of Management) for admission into management courses in India. This means - the XAT exam registration for 2025 has begun!

Here are the steps you need to follow to qualify for the XAT exam registration:

1. Visit the official website of XLRI & fill out the XAT online application form

• Visit www.xatonline.in and click "Register" to start the process of filling out the XAT application form.
• Enter your Name, Email ID, and contact details and set a password. You will receive a system-generated email/message. 
• A candidate must verify his email by clicking on the link and proceed to complete the application procedure.

2.  Upload the photo and documents such as graduation certificates, identity proofs

The candidate is supposed to upload a photo, signature, and proof of ID. Click on the declaration and verify the details thoroughly before submitting the application form.

• The file should be between 20KB-50KB.
• Ensure that the scanned image is at most 50KB. 

3. Pay the registration fee using online payment modes

Payment of Fees

• XAT Registration Fee Rs. 2000/-
• Candidates interested in XLRI programs must pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/-each.
• Indian Candidates are applying for GMP through GMAT. 2500/-
• NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programs through GMAT- Rs. 5000/-

4. Receive the XAT Entrance Exam Admit Card and take the printout for future reference

Candidates may download the XAT exam admit Card for 2024 from www.xatonline.in from December 20, 2024 onwards.
