SNAP Exam Pattern 2024

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2024 exam) will be conducted on December 08, 2024 (Sunday), December 15, 2024 (Sunday), and December 21, 2024 (Saturday).

It has a total of 60 MCQs and a total of 60 marks. If you are preparing for the SNAP exam 2024, it is best to go through the SNAP 2024 exam pattern first.

The SNAP test pattern structure is moderately complex and can be completed within 60 minutes with proper preparation. Each section of the SNAP exam format has no specific time limits; candidates can answer the questions in any preferred order.

SNAP Exam Pattern Marking Scheme

As per the SNAP exam new pattern, the candidate will be rewarded one mark for each question answered correctly and -0.25 for each question answered incorrectly.

The bifurcation of marks per question for each section of SNAP paper pattern is given below:

SNAP Exam Pattern Details 2024

• The SNAP Test Pattern 2024 will be conducted on a computer-based platform for 60 minutes.
• The test will be held on three different dates in December 2024.
• The exact timings for SNAP Test Pattern 2024 will be mentioned on the SNAP admit card.
• The SNAP exam format includes objective-type questions with four options each and 25% negative marking for each wrong answer.
• Although the utmost care is taken to prepare an error-free question paper, errors may be detected. In this case, the Scrutiny Committee will take appropriate action after the examination.
• A candidate can take up to three tests for the SNAP exam, and the final score will be calculated based on the highest score of all the tests attempted.
• The questions will be framed under specific topics to ensure fairness and uniformity across all three tests, and the spread of questions across sections will be normalized for the difficulty level.
• Any use of unfair means or malpractice will lead to immediate disqualification from the admission process of SIU.
• Any use of unfair means or malpractice at any stage of the SNAP selection process will result in the candidate's direct disqualification from future SNAP attempts.

SNAP Exam Pattern 2024 - Merit List Declaration

• The Merit List and Wait List's category-wise cut-off will be available on the institutes' websites.
• Waitlist movement will depend on the availability of vacant seats.
• The candidate will be subjected to provisional admission until the fees are paid and eligibility criteria are fulfilled.
• Admission will be approved according to the SIU's rules.
• Candidates should note that admission to any program offered by any SIU institute does not require a donation or capitation fee.
• Candidates should be cautious about individuals or outside agencies that offer such assurances or deals.

SNAP Exam Pattern and Cut-off 2024

The expected cut-off for admission to SIBM Pune, the highest-ranked MBA college under SIU, is likely to be 98%ile. However, some students have also received calls in the 96%ile. The expected cut-off percentile for SCMHRD, the second-best college that accepts SNAP scores, is 97%ile.

After the declaration of the results, the 16 Symbiosis colleges will begin releasing their SNAP cut-off percentiles. Candidates who meet the SNAP exam pattern and cut off will be invited for further selection rounds of MBA admissions, including a:
