Overview: The SNAP exam notification has been released, and the SNAP registration process will begin on 5 August 2025. The SNAP exam 2025 will be conducted on 8, 15 and 21 December 2025. Read on to know the SNAP eligibility criteria for 2025 and more!

  • The SNAP 2025 exam eligibility criteria is provided by the Symbiosis International Deemed University every year.
  • SNAP, or Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, is an MBA entrance exam held annually in December on three different dates.
  • To register for the SNAP exam 2025, you need a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% (General/OBC) and 45% (SC/ST).

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2025 For Indian Students

You need to meet the following eligibility criteria if targeting the SNAP entrance exam 2025:

  • A must-have graduation degree from a recognised university with a minimum percentage.
    • 55% (General/OBC candidates)
    • 45% for (SC/ST)
  • If you are in the final year of your graduation, you can take the SNAP exam in 2025.
  • If you have completed education from a foreign university and obtained certification from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), you are also eligible for SNAP 2025.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2025 For International Students

International Students must visit www.scie.ac.in to learn about the SNAP application process and SNAP exam eligibility for a user-friendly online application. 
There are typically four categories that students can apply under: 

  • Foreign National
  • Person Of Indian Origin
  • Overseas Citizenship of India
  • Non-Resident Indian.

Candidates must satisfy the defined SNAP eligibility criteria requirements to apply under the categories mentioned above:

Category Description
Foreign National (FN) The candidate must be a citizen of a country other than India and hold a foreign passport.
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) The candidate must have been granted OCI status and possess an OCI card.
Person of Indian Origin (PIO) The candidate must hold a PIO card and be a citizen of a country other than India. [As per the Government of India notification on 9th January 2015, current PIO cardholders are considered OCI cardholders.]
Non-Resident Indian (NRI)

The candidate must be an Indian national who has either completed the 12th grade (Intermediate) or pursued graduation outside India.
One of these qualifications must be obtained outside India.
NRI candidates who have graduated from a recognized Indian or foreign university and applied for the SNAP exam can choose between the National Student and NRI categories.
NRI candidates must register and apply through the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE).

Note* An English Proficiency Test is mandatory for foreign nationals, OCII, and PIOO students. Depending on your preference, you can choose either IELTS or IELA. A minimum score of 4 is needed for IELA, and a minimum score of 6 is needed for IELTS.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria - FN/OCI/NRI/PIO (Academic Qualification)

  • Candidate must have completed a full-time, three-year Bachelor's Degree program from any statutory University with at least 50% marks at the graduate level.
  • For the Engineering Stream, a full-time four-year Bachelor's Degree program from any statutory University with a graduate-level threshold of 50% marks is required.
  • Final-year students are also eligible to apply, but their admission will depend on obtaining a threshold limit of 50% marks at the qualifying examination.

Please make a note of the following points necessary to be eligible for SNAP test:

  • Students must pass their final examinations to be eligible for the SNAP test.
  • Every program has specific SNAP test eligibility criteria, which can be found on the institution's official website.
  • MBA Admission is subject to fulfilling the SNAP test eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must ensure they have the qualifications for admission and are eligible for the SNAP test.
  • Applying and paying the fee does not guarantee their eligibility for SNAP test.
  • After receiving all required documentation, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will determine the final SNAP eligibility criteria for admission.

Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) MMBA A (Agri-Business) Candidate should have a bachelor's degree and achieve a threshold of 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST) from an accredited institution of higher learning.

A candidate who graduated from a foreign university must present an Association Of Indian Universities AIUU) certificate.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2025 Reservation Policy

The institutes affiliated with SIU also offer reservation policies for unreserved categories. Below is the percentage of total seats reserved for various categories:
