MAH MBA CET Exam Analysis Day 2: Logical Reasoning

The VARC section of the MAH MBA CET day 2 slot 1 question paper contained passages that included a mix of logical reasoning, direction sense, and coding-decoding questions, which required analytical thinking.

  • The exam analysis also noted the recurrence of arrangement-based questions, which necessitated the application of conditions and constraints.
  • Additionally, direction sense questions required spatial knowledge and logical inferences, while coding-decoding questions involved recognizing letter shifts, numeric codes, or symbol sequences.
  • Although the puzzles were not overly difficult, some required multiple conditions to be applied simultaneously, emphasizing the need for precision.

MAH MBA CET Day 2 Analysis: Abstract Reasoning

The MAH MBA CET day 2 slot 1 question paper consisted of tricky questions that could be solved with a structured approach and quick pattern recognition.

  • Detecting the next figure in a series required recognizing transformations, such as rotation, reflection, and shape change.
  • Odd-one-out questions examined the skill of identifying slight differences in numbers, and embedded figure questions required the identification of a shape presented within a larger complex shape.
  • While most questions were straightforward, some had slight differences that could be confusing if not analyzed carefully.

MAH MBA CET Day 2 Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude.

The MAH MBA CET 2025 day 2 slot 1 analysis revealed that the exam was dominated by mathematics, with a focus on profit & loss, percentage, and ratio problems.

  • While the questions were calculation-based, they were not as difficult as those in CAT/XAT, emphasizing precision over speed.
  • The analysis also showed that there were few questions on number systems and algebra, suggesting a focus on real-world application problems.
  • Additionally, approximation methods were found to be useful in solving certain problems effectively without calculations.
  • Overall, the section was considered manageable for those with a strong understanding of basic arithmetic concepts.

MAH MBA CET Day 2 Analysis: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

The MAH MBA CET day 2 slot 1 question paper focused on evaluating candidates' comprehension and inference skills through 2-3 reading comprehension (RC) passages.

  • Grammar questions, such as sentence correction, tenses, and subject-verb agreement, were more prevalent than vocabulary-based questions.
  • Error identification and sentence structure questions tested candidates' understanding of grammar rules and logical sentence structuring.
  • Unlike some competitive exams, vocabulary-based questions like synonyms and antonyms were less frequent. The section emphasized strong grammatical fundamentals over a vast vocabulary.

  • Quantitative aptitude was arithmetic-intensive and focused heavily on time, speed, distance, and time and work.
  • No data interpretation questions appeared in this section.
  • The verbal ability section included 4–5 parajumble questions and covered vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension.
  • This section was vocabulary-heavy and easier than Slot 1. Compared to other parts of this section, reading comprehension was lengthier.
