Overview: Explore the Important Topics for IPMAT 2025 and prepare effectively for the IPMAT Indore and Rohtak exams. These entrance examinations are National level examinations, i.e., any student from any corner of India is eligible to take these Aptitude Tests for admission in the 5-year Integrated Program of Management (IPM) offered by the IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, and a lot of other universities offering IPM Course.
There are two IPMAT exams:
- IPMAT Indore for IIM Indore (and other colleges like IIM Ranchi)
- IPMAT Rohtak for IIM Rohtak
IPMAT comprises two stages, i.e., an Aptitude Test and a Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Indore IPMAT Exam Pattern 2025
- The IIM Indore IPMAT aptitude test is divided into three sections, i.e., Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Questions), Quantitative Ability (MCQs), and Verbal Ability.
- There are 45 Quantitative Ability questions. Of those 45 questions, 30 are objective-type questions (MCQs), and 15 are descriptive-type questions (Short answers type).
- The Verbal Ability section comprises 45 objective-type questions (MCQs).
- The time allotted to complete the aptitude test is 120 minutes. These 120 minutes are divided into 3 parts of 40 minutes each.
- The mark allotted for each correct answer is 4, and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

- The IIM Rohtak IPMAT aptitude test is divided into 3 sections, i.e., Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
- The Quantitative Ability section comprises 40 objective-type questions (MCQs).
- The Verbal Ability section comprises 40 objective-type questions (MCQs).
- The Logical reasoning section comprises 40 objective-type questions (MCQs).
- The time allotted to complete the aptitude test is 120 minutes. These 120 minutes are divided into 3 parts of 40 minutes for each section.
