To get admission into the top IIMs, one has to clear IPMAT and CAT conducted by the colleges annually. The IPMAT exam is conducted to offer admission into the five-year management program for those who have qualified for the class 12th exam.

IIM After 12th

You can get into the IIM college after completing class 12th. For this, you simply have to clear the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), followed by a personal interview conducted by the respective college.

Course

IPM (Integrated Program in Management) was introduced by the Indian Institute of Management (Indore). The total duration of the IPM program was five years, which was launched in 2011. In this five-year course, the first three years are for the undergraduate program, while the next two years are for the PG course.

The course is designed to provide management insights to the students. It also helps the students develop managerial and leadership skills right from the beginning. 

Candidates willing to get admission must clear the IPMAT examination, which is an Aptitude test. The scorecard is considered by top IIMs for offering admission after the counselling round. Apart from the top IIMs, the IPMAT score is also considered by IIFT.

Top IIMs After Class 12th

IPMAT courses are only offered by IIMs; the course duration is five years. At present, five IIMs are offering admission. Out of five colleges, only IIM Indore is the tier-1 college on this list. Course Fee

As per the official website of IIM Indore, the IPMAT course is of five-year duration. The IPMAT annual fee structure will be INR 4,00,000, including all expenses, tuition fees, medical insurance, and mess deposits.
