• The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance exam offering admission to multiple management programs in top colleges nationwide.
• The National Testing Agency has conducted the CMAT exam since 2019 (Earlier, AICTE regulated it).

CMAT Exam Details - Eligibilty

The National Testig Agency does not participate in the counselling process after the exam scorecard is released. Thus, the CMAT eligibilty has two phases - CMAT Exam 2024 eligilibility and program specific eligibilty.

The general eligibilty criteria as set forth by NTA fro CMAT Exam 2024 are:

Nationality	The candidate must be a citizen of India to appear for the CMAT exam.
Age	NTA sets no maximum age limit for appearing in the CMAT Exam.
Educational Qualifications	Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree to appear for the CMAT 2024. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for CMAT 2024. Still, their registration and admission will be provisional until they submit their final graduation scores.
Work Experience	To appear for the CMAT exam, candidates do not necessarily need to have work experience. Freshers can also apply, but many colleges give weightage to work experience during admission.

CMAT Exam Details - Registration and Application

1. Candidates must register on the official webite cmat.nta.nic.in with thier email ID and phine number. The email should be valid because all the exam related communications will be done on the same.
2. Candiadtes must complete and fill all the details carefully in the appplication form and note thier application number. The following things should be uploaded carefully:

• A recent photo (10Kb-200Kb), color or B&W, with 80% of your face visible (ears included) against a white background.
• Your signature (4Kb-30Kb).
• PwD certificate (50Kb-300Kb), if applicable.

3. Applicants must pay the fees via the SBI or HDFC Bank gateway through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

CMAT Exam Details - Admit Card

1. The CMAT Admit Card is usually released on the website two weeks before the examination, and the CMAT 2024 Admit Card was released on May 6, 2024.
2. The CMAT 2024 exam will be conducted in CBT mode in two slots on May 15 - 9 to 12 AM and 3 to 6 PM.
3. Candidates must download their CMAT-2024 Admit Card from the official website. It is also important to note that candidates can only download the CMAT admit cards if they have registered and paid the fees online.
4. The CMAT 2024 admit card will include the candidate’s name, number, exam date, venue where the candidate is supposed to appear for the exam, reporting time, picture, signature, and other necessary details regarding the exam.

CMAT Exam Details - Paper Pattern

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) consists of five main sections: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

The key highlights of the CMAT Exam Pattern are:

1. The exam will be a total of 400 marks.
2. Four marks will be added to the candidate's score for every correct answer.
3. The CMAT exam has negative marks. For every incorrect one mark will be deducted from the candidate's score.
4. For unattempted/unanswered questions, no marks will be added or deducted from the candidate's scores.
5. The CMAT Exam 2024 has no sectional limit.
