MAT entrance exam is a standardized national-level test which is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) four times every year. This score of this screening test is accepted in numerous colleges in our country offering post graduate programs in management.

It is a new age entrance exam with streamlined exam sections viz., Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skill, Data Analysis & Sufficiency and Economic & Business Environment.

  • MAT exam is recognized by b-Schools both in India and abroad, making MAT a gateway to over 600 business schools across the country.
  • B-Schools worldwide can use MAT entrance exam scores for admissions, based on candidates' issued Score Cards.
  • The MAT exam for MBA is available in three formats: PBT (offline), CBT (online), and IBT (remote proctored).

Admission Process Through MAT Exam 2024

  1. Application Form: Fill out your top 5 college preferences directly in the MAT application form.

  2. Clear the MAT Entrance Exam: Achieve a passing score on the MAT entrance exam to move forward in the admission process.
  3. WAT-PI Round: Once the results are out, await invitations from selected colleges for further admission rounds, which may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).
  4. Acceptance by Over 800 B-Schools: Your MAT score opens doors to MBA/PGDM programs at more than 800 business schools across India.
  5. Document Verification: After the MAT results are announced, the colleges you selected will reach out with admission details and document verification at their respective campuses.
  6. Final Admission- Once the verification is done, you pay the first installment of the fees and then take an admission.

MAT Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum qualification for MAT 2024 is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree.
  • A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally.
  • Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation, which is different for different MIs/University.

  • Access MAT Results: Visit the official MAT website at https://mat.aima.in/.
  • Navigate to Results: Select "Download/View" and then click on "MAT result 2024".
  • Enter Details: Choose the exam month and input your Roll Number and Registration Number.
  • Submit: Click on the "Submit" tab to proceed.
