Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the top educational institutions in the nation, as recognized by the Ministry of Education. The BHU admission through CUET have increased the university's popularity for its 100+ UG courses. 

  • The admission portal will be active from July - August 2025. 
  • The 100+ UG courses offer specializations in various streams such as Science, Commerce and Arts.

BHU Admission Through CUET 2025: Highlights

BHU has adopted a Combined Allotment Program for Undergraduate courses [CAP (UG) – 2025]. The admission process at BHU through the CUET exam has 6 steps, namely,

  • Step 1- Taking the CUET exam after fulfilling the eligibility criteria
  • Step 2- Fill out the BHU UG Course Registration Form 
  • Step 3- Seat Allocation & Admissions
  • Step 4- Offer Acceptance
  • Step 5- Upgrade to the first preferred subject choice or seat-locking
  • Step 6- Issue of Admission Letter & fee payment

Based on the rank obtained by you in the exam, you will be allocated seats in your preferred UG program offered by the university. 

  • Admissions will be granted based on fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed for the desired program of study. 
  • The BHU counselling admission deadline will be on the official website after the registration deadline is over.

BHU Admission Through CUET 2025: Step-by-Step Process

  • Visit the official website or use the link given below.
  • Scroll down and click on the "Click for registration" button.
  • Read the instructions and agree to have read them.
  • Towards the right-hand side, click on the option "New Registration". 
  • Start filling out your application form with information such as your NTA application number, name, DOB, Gender, Parents' names, and Email ID. 
  • Create a BHU Portal password and Captcha information and sign up. 
  • Your email ID will have a verification link for logging in to BHU. 
  • Use the link in the email and start filling in the information, such as your details, Educational details, Selection of the desired program, Uploading a photo and signature, Document Upload and Bank account details.
  • Fill your CUET exam scores.
  • Pay the BHU admission through CUET fees, as mentioned. 
  • Check the preview process and submit your application.

Documents Required for BHU Admission through CUET 2025

Once the CUET results are declared, the BHU CUET registration window is open for around 20 days, during which you must fill in your CUET result score on the BHU admission portal. Soon after, the BHU counselling process will be conducted for 8-9 days. 

The list of documents required during the counselling process are:

1. Matriculation Certificate
2. Mark Sheet of 12 or qualifying exam
3. Caste certificate (ST/ SC/ OBC/ EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority (if applicable)
4. PwD Certificate (if applicable) 
5. BHU Employee certificate (if any)
6. Certificate of admission under sports quota
7. A scanned copy of the recent colour photo
8. A scanned copy of the signature

BHU Admission through CUET 2025 Fees 

Once the results are announced, you must fill the registration form to be eligible for further admission. The application fees for the university are as follows:
