• Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, or SNAP, is an annual entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University. It's an online exam conducted in multiple cities/centres.
• The exam is conducted to give admission into any Symbiosis International Deemed University institution that offers an MBA program.

SNAP Notification 2024 Important Updates

SNAP 2024 notification details are as follows:

Symbiosis International Deemed University announced a SNAP exam notification, stating that SNAP registration will commence on August 5, 2024. There will be three tests for the SNAP entrance exam.  

• If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation, and there will be no normalization. 
• Each of SIU's 15 institutes conducts its own GE-PIWAT. The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme. 
• If shortlisted for a programme applied to, the candidate would then need to participate in the further admission process (GE-PIWAT) of that particular programme.

The weightage of various parameters for the merit list are:

• SNAP Score (out of 60, scaled down to 50 marks) – 50;
• Group Exercise (GE) – 10;
• Personal Interview (PI) – 30;
• Writing Ability Test (WAT) – 10  

Attending all components/tests of GE-PIWAT is mandatory for admission to any PG programme. Only the candidate who attends all components/tests of the selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered eligible for the merit / wait/reject list generation. 

The category-wise SNAP exam cut-off for the Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the respective Institutes' websites.

SNAP Notification 2024: Registration Process 

As per the SNAP notification 2024, a candidate can appear for up to three tests for SNAP 2024. The first step to register for the exam is to complete the SNAP exam registration process for 2024.

• To register online, visit the official website - https://www.snaptest.org/.
• Any change in the online registration form (except name, date of birth, category, test city preferences and test date) must be done before the last date of the SNAP 2024 notification. 
• No change shall be permitted after the last date under any circumstances.
• Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. *No change in name, date of birth, category, test city and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2024 registration fee.
• Upload your latest scanned colour passport-size photo at the time of online registration for the SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than three months old).

**The SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. Demand Draft

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of  INR 2250 per test. Government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in the ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

SNAP Notification: Selection Process After SNAP 2024 Entrance Test

Shortlisting for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI)

• A candidate will be shortlisted for further Symbiosis MBA admission process (GE-PI) based on their overall SNAP Percentile. You will have to check the respective institute website for information and dates for GE-PI.
• The SNAP admission process is conducted separately for each MBA programme by each institute.
• The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme.
• You may be shortlisted for multiple programs based on your overall SNAP percentile. In such a scenario, the candidate is expected to participate in the GE-PI for each programme separately.
