Eligibility Criteria for SLS AIAT 3-Year LL.B. 

Before applying for the SLS AIAT 3-Year LL.B. Entrance Test, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements: 

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed their undergraduate degree (from any recognized university or institution of national importance) with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade for general candidates, and 40% marks or equivalent grade for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. 

Important Note: Candidates must verify whether they meet the eligibility criteria. Provisional admission does not guarantee acceptance of eligibility. The final eligibility will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) based on the candidate fulfilling the admission norms.

The SLS AIAT 3-Year LL.B. Entrance Test consists of two primary sections:

10 MCQs covering socio-legal, politico-legal, current, and contemporary issues with a 20-minute time limit. 

Psychometric Test (10 Marks) 

An online psychometric test to evaluate personality traits, lasting 20 minutes. 

Personal Interaction (30 Marks) 

A face-to-face interview that evaluates the candidate’s personality, communication skills, work experience, global outlook, professionalism, ethics, and values. Each candidate will have 6-8 minutes for this interaction.

Step 1: Apply Online

Step 2: All India Admission Test (AIAT)

The admission process comprises the Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT) and an Online Personal Interaction (PI). The AIAT will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at respective centres.

AIAT comprises of:

  • Writing sample/subjective/descriptive answer (Writing Sample: two subjective questions for 20 marks each, total 40 marks) for 65 minutes concerning social, political and legal issues.
  • 10 objective/multiple choice questions for 20 marks relating to general knowledge, legal reasoning and reading comprehension.
  • Online Psychometric Test of 20 minutes for 10 marks. There will be a time limit to answer the questions. Once the time limit is over, the candidate will lose an opportunity to answer the questions.
  • An answer given by a candidate will be locked, so the candidate will not be able to change the answer. The candidate needs to ensure that the answer is recorded within the stipulated time limit.

Step 3: Online Personal Interaction (PI):

There will be a total of 30 marks for PI: Personal Interaction is intended to test the personal attributes, fitment, work experience, global outlook, professionalism, ethics, values, and statement of purpose of a candidate. Each candidate will get a maximum of 6 to 8 minutes for PI. The candidate needs to be ready at the given time without any excuse by following the instructions given by SLS, Pune-SIU.

Reservation of Seats in SLS AIAT 3-Year LL.B.

Within the sanctioned intake:

  3. Differently Abled - 3%

SLS AIAT 3-Year LL.B. Results

After the completion of the exam, the results for the AIAT 3-Year LL.B. Entrance Test will be declared on the Symbiosis Law School website.
