Important Documents to Carry in IIM Interviews

For such a critical stage as the IIM interview, it's essential to ensure that you carry everything listed in your IIM call letter.
Essentials for Your IIM Interview:
First off, document verification greets you at the door of your IIM interview, so it's wise to carry all necessary documents in a professional folder – leather or otherwise, your choice.
Here’s Your IIM Interview Packing List:
- Academic Records: Bring originals and a couple of photocopies of your 10th, 12th, and undergraduate degree certificates.
- Professional Qualifications: Don’t forget to carry the additional qualifications like CA, CS or any of your diploma or certification courses, if you have any.
- CAT Scorecard: A colored printout of your CAT scorecard.
- Caste Certificate: Carry the original certificate and a photocopy, if applicable.
- Achievement Certificates: Any co-curricular and extra-curricular certificates, scholarships, etc., that you've mentioned in the IIM application.
- Work Experience Documentation: Include your work experience certificate, joining letter, salary slips, etc.
- Specific IIM Form: The filled form for the particular IIM you're being interviewed for.
- Resume: Your latest resume, crisp and updated.
- Government-Issued ID: Aadhar, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, or College ID.
- Hobby Samples: If you have hobbies like writing or painting, bring some samples.
- Optional: A few passport-size photographs.
- Pen: Always handy to have one.
Remember, without these documents, the IIMs might not let you proceed with the WAT-PI.
Additionally, you should arrange your academic and professional certificates in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent and working back to the earliest.
Though document requirements might vary across IIMs, it’s better to be over-prepared. Keep a couple of photocopies of all documents in a separate file. And yes, don't forget to take printouts of digital proofs of your achievements, if any.
