NMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024

Now that the NMAT exam date 2024 is released, you must meet the NMAT eligibility criteria set by the conducting body. The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has set the following eligibility requirements for the NMAT exam:

Eligibility Criteria Details
Age There is no maximum age limit for appearing for the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) NMAT exam.
Educational Qualifications
  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (10+2+3/4) and have a graduation score of at least 50%.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply. However, their admission will be provisional until they submit their graduation mark sheet.
Work Experience No minimum work experience is required to apply for the NMAT Exam by GMAC. Thus, freshers can also apply for the NMAT Exam date 2024. However, work experience of 2-3 years gives a candidate an edge during the selection process.
Reservation Policy The GMAC follows no reservation policy; thus, the exam fee is the same. However, the colleges accepting NMAT scores might offer admissions based on reservation policies.

Candidates must note that the NMAT exam registration and the NMAT score-accepting college application process are two separate steps. Hence, the eligibility requirements for every college are different, and candidates must check the eligibility requirements of colleges and programs they wish to be admitted into, along with the NMAT date, on their official website.
