NLU Jodhpur ADMISSION PROCESS 

Admission to NLU can be claimed based on the performance of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). CLAT is a standard law admission entrance test that enables students to join undergraduate and postgraduate courses like BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM.

NLU Jodhpur has a double semester system for BA. LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.). The duration is 5 years (10 semesters), and the Total Credits are approximately 220-240 credits, varying by specialisation.

In addition to this, two training contracts from international firms were received. This was a 38% drop from 2023, with total bagged offers 60, with three training contracts.  The median package is Rs 14.50 lakh, with the highest package being Rs 30 lakh. 

Scholarships at NLU Jodhpur

National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur, offers various scholarships and financial assistance programs to its students:

NLUJ Scholarship: The scholarship is awarded to two meritorious undergraduate students from each batch belonging to a low-income family. It refunds the tuition fees that have already been paid by the selected student by the end of each academic year. Eligibility criteria: Aggregate CGPA of at least 6.0 and aggregate family income below ₹8 lakh per annum.

Aditya Birla Scholarship: The best 20 students from selected law schools, such as NLU Jodhpur, are entitled to this scholarship. It is given to cover a significant portion of the tuition fees, up to ₹1,80,000 per annum or the actual costs, whichever is lesser.

Government Scholarships:

Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students: It offers complete tuition fee exemption and also acquires an educational allowance by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, which is being provided to students belonging to Scheduled Castes, with family income not more than ₹8 lakh per annum.

Top Class Education for ST Students: Offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, it covers tuition fees and living expenses and gives a one-time grant for a computer for Scheduled Tribe students. The eligibility criterion is that the family income should not exceed ₹2 lakh per annum.
