The Consortium of National Law Universities has been directed by the Delhi High Court to revise CLAT 2025 results due to errors in the answer key, as identified in Aditya Singh v. Consortium of National Law Universities. Five questions in Question Paper Set-A were disputed.

The scorecard is an official document that will be released by the exam conducting authorities along with the CLAT Result. This document will include the marks scored in each section and your total marks in the CLAT Exam.

How is the CLAT Rank List 2025 Prepared?
Rank List is prepared based on your scores in the entrance exam. The merit is published in descending order of rank, which means you will be given higher preference if you have a high score followed by lower scores.
You would be given first preference during the CLAT Seat Allotment if you ranked higher in the merit list.
If two or more students have the same scores in the CLAT examination, then the exam conducting body will consider the following tie-breaking procedure:
- If your age is higher, then you will be given a high preference
- Those who have scored higher in the Legal Aptitude Test will be ranked higher
- If both are the same age and secured equal marks in legal aptitude, a computerized draw of lots will decide who gets the higher position.
What After CLAT Rank List 2025?
Now the rank list is out, you will be shortlisted for counselling and the seat allotment process as per the rank. The consortium is responsible for sending call letters for the counselling process.
You are called first for the CLAT Counselling if you have higher scores.
- The Consortium will release the counselling list after the first round.
- If your name is on the rank list, you must deposit Rs 5000 in counselling fees. 50000/- to confirm your seat.
- NLUs will provide admission in UG and PG courses, accepting CLAT scores through counselling.
