The daily routine of IIM Jammu is very basic for every course. The day begins at 8 am every day, after which the students are called for breakfast in the mess. Next, the classes begin at 08.30 am, and the classes continue till 4 pm every day. The classes also offer regular refreshments and lunch breaks at short intervals.

Life at IIM Jammu: Campus Insight of IIM Jammu

IIM Jammu was constructed on the site of a former university, Canal Road Jammu. However, the new campus has just recently opened. The campus is located on a 200-acre tract near Srinagar city. The college's classrooms, libraries, labs, sports complex, teaching and administrative buildings, dorms, and other spaces are all connected by wired and wireless internet.

There are now three classrooms in the building, each with room for 100 students.

The student placement committee of IIM Jammu conducts a Pre-Placement Talk (In-campus/Online) for the students, which is usually 30 to 60 minutes. Post PPT, an email informing about the job/internship opening and its details is shared by the placement committee with the students. You can register and submit an ‘Expression of Interest for the job/internship opening. The placement committee then provides job profiles to the students and then offers them apt training.
