Jindal Global Law School Admission  

To secure admission at JGLS, the following steps must be followed: 

For UG Programmes:  

  • Jindal Global Law School Entrance Exam: LNAT UK 
  • To gain admission at JGLS, the candidates are required to appear for the LNAT UK exam.  
  • LNAT UK is a standardized test developed by UK universities to fairly and effectively assess a candidate’s capability for undergraduate law courses. The LNAT has been designed and calibrated by Edexcel for Pearson VUE, the world’s leading computer-based testing & assessment organization. 
  • To be noted: JGLS does not require its applicants to attempt the essay part of the LNAT for admissions. JGLS offers admission solely based on the scores obtained in the MCQ section. 
  • The LNAT assesses candidates' aptitude for law, evaluating skills such as logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and analytical thinking—key competencies for any future legal professional.

Jindal Global Law School Eligibility & Selection Process 

  • Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. 
  • The minimum required marks are 45% aggregate, though higher marks may be preferred. 
  • For international students, equivalent qualifications from foreign boards are accepted. 
  • Final Selection: After the LNAT results are out, the university assesses the candidates based on their exam performance and previous academic record

While applying to JGLS, the candidates must provide the following documents: 

FOR UG Programmes

  • Proof of educational qualifications (e.g., 10+2 certificates). 
  • Passport-sized photographs.

 For PG Programmes:  

  • Applicants to the JGLS LL.M. programme should have a bachelor's degree in law with 45% in aggregate from any university in India or abroad that is duly recognised under the law and by the regulatory authorities.  
  • The students graduating by July 2025 are also eligible to apply. 

Courses Offered at Jindal Global Law School 

At the UG level, JGLS offers the following courses: 

  • B.A. LL.B. (Hons.): JGLS offers a mix of compulsory and elective courses for a maximum of one semester. The standard full-time load in each semester is, therefore, 20 credits. The subjects across different semesters include English, Foundations of Social Sciences, International Relations, Legal Methods Law of Torts & Consumer Protection, etc. It is a 5-year integrated programme offered at JGLS. 
  • BBA LL.B. (Hons.): At JGLS, this course offers a mix of management and law, fostering a holistic development of students and making them stand out of the crowd, especially in the Corporate Law Domain. It is a 5-year integrated programme offered at JGLS. 
  • B. Com LL.B. (Hons.): The Bachelor of Commerce + Bachelor of Laws programme has been designed with the help of BCI rules and UGC prescriptions. It is especially applicable to those who have an interest in accounting & business law-like subjects. It is a 5-year integrated programme offered at JGLS. 
  • B.A. Legal Studies: The course at Jindal Global Law School focuses on law and social science subjects, offering a multi-disciplinary undergraduate degree in the legal field. It is a 3-year programme offered at JGLS.

  • 1 Year LLM (Residential): At JGLS, the Centre for Post Graduate Legal Studies offers a 1-year LLM in Corporate & Financial Law and Policy, International Trade and Investment Law, Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Law, Taxation Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, General LLM, Competition Law, Human Rights, International Law & Environmental Law. 
  • 1 Year LLM Programme in Environmental law, energy, and climate change in collaboration with WWF-India (Non-Residential): The objective behind this course is to integrate the Indian as well as Global Perspective on various aspects of national & international Environmental Law, Climate Change & Energy, emphasis on International, Transnational and Comparative scenarios to study the subject.
