Below are the steps to calculate the rank based on the JEE Main marks vs percentile for Paper 2 -

Step 1: Distribute the Examinees in two days and two daily shifts. 

Candidates would be distributed in 4 sessions with approximately equal numbers of candidates.

  • Session 1: Day-1 Shift-1, Session-2: Day-1 Shift-2
  • Session 3: Day-2 Shift-1 and Session-4: Day-2 Shift-2

Step 2: Preparation of Results for each Session 

The examination results for each session will be prepared in the form of raw scores and percentage scores for each subject, aptitude, maths, and drawing, in JEE Main paper 2 and the total. 

The following 4 % must be calculated for each candidate in the Session:
