IPMAT Indore Exam Analysis 2022

As per the IPMAT paper analysis, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate, and it was similar to the previous year.

The following are some of the key highlights of the IPMAT Indore Exam 2022.

  • This year, the pattern was completely different compared to last year, meaning there were 90 questions in the exam.
  • There were 45 questions in the verbal ability section which needed to be answered in 45 minutes.
  • The verbal ability section was relatively easy compared to the other two sections.
  • Compared to the previous year, the Quantitative Ability (SA) section was tough this year.

IPMAT IIM Indore Exam Analysis 2022 for Quantitative Ability (SA)

Here is the Short answer analysis as per the IPMAT exam analysis pdf: 

  • There were a total of 15 questions that must be attempted in 40 minutes.
  • Most of the questions are manageable and doable.
  • There was 1 question each based on determinants, functions, profit & loss, trigonometry, binomial, set theory, and average.
  • There were 2 questions each from arithmetic progression and geometry progression.

IPMAT Indore Analysis for Quantitative Ability (MCQ)

The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate-tough.

  • The quantitative ability (MCQ) section was relatively tough for students from a commerce background, as most of the questions were unconventional.
  • Students from PCM and PCB backgrounds felt the questions were at a moderate level of difficulty.
  • There was 1 question each from heights & distance, time, speed & distance, probability, functions, and average.
  • There were 2-3 questions each from set theory, number systems, functions, arithmetic progression, and geometry progression
  • There were questions on algebra and set theory, and most were a little complex.
  • There was 1 question on DI followed by 5 questions.
  • Also, there were 3-4 questions on permutations and combination topics.

IPMAT Indore 2022 Exam Analysis 2022 for Verbal Ability (VA)

A total of 45 questions had to be attempted in 40 minutes.

  • Most of the students said that 5-6 questions followed 2 RC passages.
  • The passages were lengthy, but they were doable.
  • There were 708 questions on fill-the-blanks, which were a little difficult.
  • There were 2-3 questions on idioms and phrases that were easy to answer.
  • Grammar questions were doable and easy.
  • There were  4-5 questions each on para jumbles, para completion, and spotting the error, and they were easy to moderate difficulty levels.

IPMAT Exam Analysis 2022 for IIM Rohtak

IPMAT Rohtak paper has been executed since 2019; this is the 4th time the examination has been conducted. 

The candidates found the IIM Rohtak examination slightly easier than last year. Most of the questions asked in today’s exam were doable for all three subjects. The overall difficulty level of IPMAT 2022 of IIM Rohtak is easy to moderate. However, this year, the difficulty level of questions asked in English was high. 

Highlights of IPMAT Rohtak 2022

  • No data interpretation sets
  • Questions from set-based LR were not together but scattered. Reading comprehension set questions were together. 
  • No on-screen calculator was provided
  • No sectional timings were imposed
  • The English section was high on vocabulary.
  • Rough sheets were provided for requesting more.

IPMAT Exam Analysis 2022 for Quantitative Ability

This section was the easiest section of the IPMAT IIM Rohtak. 

The questions asked were easy and not calculative. Candidates could easily attempt 34 to 36 questions from the Maths section.

Based on the students' review, the overall difficulty level of the JIPMAT Exam was easy compared to IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak.

IPMAT 2020 Exam Analysis

  • The number of questions was reduced by 50%, but the time was reduced only by 25%. This made the exam less lengthy and answer questions easily.
  • The paper was not very difficult for non-math background students
  • All the questions were doable. The overall good score will be more than 60%.
