Pre Placement Talks [ PPT ] for Final Placements
The IIT Kharagpur Law Career Development Centre (CDC) manages the entire placement process.
It all starts with Pre-Placement Talks (PPT), where companies visit the campus and give presentations about their company, job profiles, and recruitment process. These talks help students understand the job requirements and prepare for the upcoming interviews.
Job Notification Form
Once the PPTs are done, the CDC releases the Job Notification Form, which lists the job profiles offered by the companies and their eligibility criteria. You then fill out the form and apply for the job profiles that interest you.
Final Placement
The final placements begin after the application process is complete. The companies visit the campus and conduct interviews and selection rounds.
The CDC supports the students by conducting mock interviews, resume-building workshops, and career counselling sessions to help them prepare for the interviews.
After the selection process, the companies make job offers to the selected students. If needed, the CDC then helps you negotiate the job offer and finalize your employment agreements.
