JEE Main Paper 1 for B.Tech in Design

JEE Main is the first phase of the IIT Joint Entrance Exam (IIT JEE). It is a computer-based online test conducted by the National Testing Agency for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in India in top engineering institutes, such as IITs, NITs, etc.

The JEE Main 2025 exam consists of two papers:

  • There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main
  • Candidates must have passed class 12 in 2023/2024 or appear in 2025 from any recognized board.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the JEE Advanced exam, you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria laid out by the exam conducting authorities.

  • A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
  • Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 (including all categories) in the BE/BTech Paper of JEE Main 2025.

  • Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.

UCEED Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, including foreign nationals, must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to appear in UCEED 2025.

  • For admission to the IIT Delhi B.Tech in Design program the candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 2000, if they belong to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category, and born on or after October 1, 1995, if they belong to the SC, ST, or PwD category.
  • A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and that too in consecutive years. The UCEED score is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same academic year.
  • The candidate should have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2024 OR should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2025 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2025.
  • Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.
  • Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination (Class XII) in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in UCEED 2024.
